January 2010 marks a new beginning for me with the launch of Behind Bars Cycle Gear.

Having been in device sales all my life, I decided to start a business more closely related to my passion, motorcycles.  I have owned and ridden motorcycles all my adult life. I have a passion for them as machines. I have a passion for them as modes of transportation. I even have a passion for them as an art form. I am a gear-head, an admitted speed-demon and a chromaholic. (First you have to admit you have a problem). And I enjoy the camaraderie of others that share my passion.

Behind Bars Cycle Gear offers only quality accessory products that fit within the “Rider’s Envelope”, behind the bars. We strive to carry only the highest value products within each of our product categories. Of course, I get to decide, but if you think you know of a better competing product at a better price, I’d like to know about it. January 2010 also marks 5 years cancer free after a tumor was discovered back in 2004. Radiation, chemotherapy and eventually surgery appears to have done the trick, allowing me to carry on with my life. Not everyone is so lucky.
